And it was tough.  Probably the toughest thing I’ve done in a long while.  I pitched an idea and it turned into the Work Spouse show for GO! on October 24, 2009 at CBC Radio One where I work.

I wasn’t the only one who wrote it, and not all the ideas were mine.  Many others pitched in after its first iteration.  What I’ve learned most is

a) Writing long-form radio in a comedy format is HARD.

b) I have much, much more to learn.

In this story I followed Gladstone Hotel chef Marc Breton to Chick-A-Biddy Acres for some fresh produce.  The farm and other local producers provide food for the Gladstone Hotel’s Harvest Wednesdays, a seasonal - and delicious - series.
